This Afternoon: Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s to around 90 south, and mid to upper 80s in the north, except lower 80s near the Vermont/Québec border. Northwest winds 5 to 15.

Winds:

Lower elevations today will see west winds of 5 to 15 mph, with waves on Lake Champlain of 1 to 2 feet. On Monday, winds in the valleys will be light and variable, with waves on Lake Champlain running 1 foot or less.

Mountain:

Today summits will be in and out of the clouds, with an isolated thunderstorm possible in the south, scattered north. On Monday summits will be in and out of the clouds early, before becoming obscured near and south of Route 2, as showers work in from the west in the afternoon.
