Victorian Holiday

November 27, 2017| Categories: Fairbanks Museum, Programs and Events

Saturday, December 8, 1:30 – 4:00 PM.

We’re decking the halls and pulling out the cookie platters, and prepping for our time-capsule holiday tradition. The Fairbanks Victorian Holiday Open House is our way to say “thank you” to our members, neighbors, and friends as we ring in the season with sweets and music and crafts.

This year’s festivities start with the Good Shepherd Carolers at 1:30.

Mark Breen brings his baritone to the Wind Rose singers at 2:00.

Travel across the seasonal night sky in our planetarium — shows are at 2:00, 2:30 & 3:00.

Thanks to students at St. Johnsbury Academy’s culinary arts program and our fabulous Franklin’s Guides, you’ll be able to decorate gingerbread cookies with rainbow glazes. Crafty volunteers guide guests through simple crafts with satisfying results — perfect for giving or decorating. And there are cookies, piles of cookies, for you to sample seasonal sweetness from trustees, volunteers, and staff.

The Fairbanks Victorian Holiday Open House is FREE and open to everyone, thanks to our sponsors.
