Pardon us while we freshen up!

Our doors are closed this month, but we’re busier than ever making changes to our displays and our building. We do this work every year to bring out the dazzle in our displays and enhance your visit. When we reopen onĀ  February 2, we’ll have a lift to the planetarium! We’ve been working on this dream for many years, and we’re so excited to put it in motion.

You can be a part of this improvement by sponsoring a seat. When you contribute $200 to our planetarium by January 31, you’ll be able to enjoy tours of the cosmos in a comfortable, padded chair with your name on it.

We’re also refreshing our displays and bringing new artifacts and interpretations to our musical instrument and Asian exhibits. We take our responsibility for the safeguarding of treasured objects in our care seriously, and we want you to enjoy the beauty and originality of items in our care.

We’ll reopen on February 2.
