Exhibit developed and curated by Dartmouth College students on view now.
Reflecting our Victorian roots, we’re collaborating with a class in the Dartmouth College English department: “God, Darwin, and the Literary Imagination” to display an exhibit of original artwork. Professor Christie Harner and her students are studying how debates about evolution and religion influenced literature and the arts in the nineteenth century. Students’ work reflects on the complex intersection of extinction science, the arts, Christian faith, and the Victorian natural history museum.
Dartmouth students have created individual pieces which will be on display through December. More information about the exhibition can be found here.
