You are invited! Saturday, February 1st, 3:00-5:00 PM celebrate our re-opening for 2020. Come for light refreshments and a gallery tour to see new exhibits and updated displays with insider’s explanations from the Fairbanks Museum staff. Experience the newly-tilted dome of our Lyman Spitzer Jr. Planetarium for new tours of the cosmos.

We’ll also be celebrating the opening of a new original exhibit: INSIDE OUT; Hidden Art in Natural History Collections. Surprising x-ray images reveal what’s below the surface of historic taxidermy mounts and the mysteries inside sea shells. We’ve combined photographs in lenticular prints, so you experience x-ray vision! This original exhibit was created in partnership with Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital.

MEMBER’S SPECIAL: Pick up your free gift from the Nature Store at the front desk with your membership card!
