Thursday, August 5th, 7:00 PM

Join us each month for a virtual conversation about astronomy and space!

The Fairbanks Museum’s astronomy program is featured on WCAX StarStruck, with educator Bobby Farlice-Rubio leading you on a journey to the cosmos! You’ll learn about the latest explorations in space, once-in-a-lifetime astronomical occurrences, and advances in space technology. This brief segment offers glimpse of what is new and exciting in our understanding of the universe. But what if you want to learn more? Now you can with our monthly Night Owl Club: a virtual discussion with Bobby, answering your burning questions about space! Tune in on Zoom or Facebook on the Thursday following our monthly Star Struck broadcasts (which occur on the first Monday of the month) to talk about space!

Want to know whether there could be life on nearby or faraway planets? What the latest space missions are learning? Or how phenomena in space work? Bring any questions you want to discuss about space- the sky is the limit… or is it the stars?

Anticipated Night Owl Club dates (check here or Facebook for updates):

Wednesday, July 28th at 2:00 PM – tune in (or join us at the museum) to chat with NASA Artemis Engineer Jenny Gruber!

Thursday, August 5th at 7:00 PM

Thursday, September 9th at 7:00 PM

Use this Zoom link to log on, or find us live on Facebook
