New Exhibits!

January 22, 2018| Categories: Fairbanks Museum, Museum News

Just opened!

New exhibits that let you play with energy, light, magnets, and more are now open. Our Soucy Family Exploration Station is better than ever! You won’t want to take our word for it … try your hand at launching bottles, engineering rockets, splitting shadows, and so much more!

These exhibits are designed to engage young and old alike with activities that invite curiosity about the forces around us all the time. You’ll be amazed by endless ways to play with a wind tunnel. And test your assumptions about what makes an object defy gravity. Have you wondered about heat pumps? So have we, and we decided to find out how they work. You’ll also be able to take a look at satellites in motion around the earth and get up close to the moon with new video in our spin browser.

So what are you waiting for? Take a look at what’s new in the Fairbanks Museum!
