Animals in Winter!

Unpack an adventure each day during February Break. While in-person camp is not feasible, we gathered some of our favorite discovery gear to prepare a winter “camp-in-a-box” to keep your kiddos busy during February break! This box is packed with fun crafts and educational activities that focus on how animals have developed strategies to survive the cold. Campers will also take a close look at animal footprints and use their own track stamps to create an exciting and mysterious winter scene.
Geared toward ages 5-10, with one hour of activities planned per day for the Monday-Friday of vacation week.
The cost per box is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Each box contains tools and activities for one child.
Families can pick up their Camp-in-a-Box at the museum during the following timeframes:*
  • Friday, February 19- 12:00 to 4:00 pm
  • Saturday, February 20- 12:00 to 2:00 pm
  • Monday, February 22- 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
*Please let us know if none of these pick-up times work for your family.
