To the Moon! Take off for spring break adventure with our astronomy experts. We’ll make and launch rockets, take a peek into deep space at the Northern Skies Observatory (in Peacham) and keep up with the latest NASA news.

Fairbanks Museum AstroCamp is hands-0n space exploration at its best. For kids ages 9 – 13, the action starts in our Lyman Spitzer Jr. Planetarium with educators who are experts in astronomy and passionate about teaching. Activities include experiments that test the laws of physics, engineering and geometry as you build and launch your own space craft. We’ll travel to the Northern Skies Observatory in Peacham, VT, where you’ll be able to view the stars and plants through a powerful telescope, unique to this area.

Space is limited for this popular program. Click here for more about our Astronomy Camp and other vacation and summer programs.
