Daily tours of the cosmos are waiting for you to take off!
Want to do something out-of-this-world during school vacation? A visit to Vermont’s only public planetarium won’t let you down. Check the calendar to learn about daily planetarium presentations. You can choose from a tour of the cosmos with one of our astronomy experts who have backgrounds in myths and legends about the constellations, space explorations, and lunar landings. Or experience another time and place with one of our dinosaur films that take you to a world we can only imagine. Immerse yourself in extreme weather conditions during an exploration of the forces that shape massive storms!
Vermont’s brilliant night skies are perfect for star gazing, and our Lyman Spitzer Jr. Planetarium opens your eyes to vast worlds beyond our horizons.
For astronomy fans ages 9 – 14, there is one spot left in our Astronomy Camp! Register today.
We do our best to accommodate all visitors who want to experience the unique presentations in our Lyman Spitzer Jr Planetarium, however only Fairbanks Museum members can reserve tickets in advance. Join today to enjoy FREE admission to the Museum and to the planetarium all year.
