About  |  Admission & Hours  |  AstroCamp  |  Group & School Visits  |  Night Sky Report  |  Satellite Watch

The Planetarium's intimate setting lends itself to a format of live presentations by trained staff, and features an engaging tour of the night sky, including any significant current events in astronomy such as comets, eclipses, and meteor showers.

In addition to these public shows, the planetarium provides both basic and specialized programs for over 10,000 school children each year. Using the night sky as a back drop, programs focus on topics such as the constellations, mythology, stellar evolution, celestial navigation, extraterrestrial life, ancient cultures and their cosmologies, or the prospects of being hit by an asteroid.
