Welcome to the
Balch Nature Buddies Playgroup!
The Balch Nature Buddies Playgroup at the Fairbanks Museum engages children aged 0-6 in explorations of the natural world. The Balch Nature Buddies builds on intrinsic curiosity to develop an early attachment to the environment, to plant the seeds of nature learning. Parents/guardians attend with their children for guided indoor and outdoor play.
The Playgroup teacher is Lisa Emerson. Lisa is a graduate of The University of Vermont with a degree in Fine Arts, and received her elementary license from the Upper Valley Teacher Institute. Lisa lives in Saint Johnsbury with her husband and two children.
The Nature Buddies meet at the Museum on Tuesday or Thursday from 9-11 a.m.
