We at the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium extend a warm invitation to you to join us to talk about environmental initiatives in and around the Northeast Kingdom. We are working with a committee representing businesses, colleges, government agencies and nonprofit groups from around the state on this environmental literacy project. We know that businesses, organizations and communities are educating folks on environmental issues relating to their work and that many have developed model environmental initiatives in their practices. This statewide conversation is an opportunity to share your organization’s environmental efforts and to hear what others are doing. Our goal is to collect information about these model environmental practices and projects, and to present them as a roadmap to environmental literacy for Vermont. I hope you will come and share what you and your group are engaged in.
