Fruit Tree Pruning and GraftingSaturday, February 27, 2010
Join local fruit tree expert Todd Parlo in an exploration of the culture and cultivation of fruit trees suited to our climate. Winter is the time to tend to your fruit trees, long before they bud. With the right care and attention, you can strengthen your trees and increase or diversify their yield. This daylong workshop will be divided into two sessions, pruning in the morning, grafting after lunch, allowing us plenty of time for the study and practice of each method. You can join us for the day, or just one session. Whether you have a few backyard trees or an entire orchard, you won't want to miss this informative and engaging day with one of our premier local fruit tree experts! Full day of workshops: $25 members, $30 non-members Half day of workshops: $15 members, $20 non-members Date: February 27, 2010 Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Location: Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium
